There are two ways to do it…The manual free way or use a paid service, which costs money but will get the job done much faster!

Some of the sites I like are EzineArticles.com, Shoutwire.com, ArticleFeeder.com, GoArticles.com, Squidoo.com, SubmitYourArticles.com and TRCB.com. There are hundreds more, but start with these and you’ll be on your way to submitting articles and getting traffic. A Free Article Submission website is ArticleMarketer.com. It is a free service that will help you to get your articles out there faster.

Another smart thing to do would be to search for E-Zine publishers that focus on your niche. Send an email to the publisher of the E-Zine informing him or her that I have a great article that I feel would be of great benefit to their readers. E-Zine publishers are constantly looking for quality and entertaining content. If they publish your article, it could result in thousands of visitors to your website. I’d recommend using an RSS Feed for the readers to sign up for, so when new content is published, they will be informed and come back to your website again and again.

Here are a few tips when submitting an article to a publisher:
1. Be Professional.
2. Only submit your BEST work.
3. Do your research on who you are Submitting your article to. Make sure it is a good fit.
4. Flatter the publisher by telling them you’ve enjoyed their publication and pull a couple of examples from their past issues.
5. Include all the information a Publisher will need. Your contact info, the article you want published. Do not send the article in an attachment. It can get blocked by the ISP’s and with any attachments, there could be a virus and the publisher may never open your document.
6. If there is a commission to be made, for example, if you are selling an e-book, you want to make it clear to the publisher that they will get a commission on every sale, You might even want to give them an extra 10 to 15% above the standard commission.

Your Letter to the publisher may start of like this:
Dear Publisher (Use their Name),
I’ve been an avid reader of your E-Zine for several months now and really enjoy the quality of information you continue to provide in each issue.  I especially enjoyed the article from your Jan 2009 issue titled: 7 Tips on getting SEO Traffic to your website.
I have been marketing on the internet for 5 years and have also published several articles on marketing. My favorite Article that keeps getting great reviews is entitled “Article Marketing, Does it Really Work?” Knowing first hand that quality, informative content is the key ingredient in each and every issue you publish, I’m certain you’ll not only appreciate the article, I think it will be a perfect match for your E-Zine and I know your readers will love it.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you soon.  Keep up the great work!
I’ve copied and formatted the article below for your review.

Sincerely,

Craig Garcia

Begin your Article Here:
“Article Marketing, Does it Really Work?”

If you Google Ezine Publishers or Ezine company, several companies pop up.

Make sure you write down all the details of Who you submit your articles to, What article you submitted and their Response if any. It is OK, to submit more than one article to the same E-Zine Publisher. Let them know that on this date, you submitted article #1, and their response or non response was…..  Let them know you are submitting a different article and the new reason why you think they will enjoy this over the last one you submitted. Please don’t spam them!  Make a simple list or directory for yourself and keep track of your work. This way, you will know where to send your articles the next time, who accepted your articles in the past, which publishers were open to the idea, etc. If you use this technique, you might be surprised to develop a good relationship with several companies.

More Tips:
Learn from the other authors. Notice their various writing styles – which do you like best and why? Take notes of those articles that grab your attention with a great headline. Then write a great headline for your article. Check out the resources boxes at the end of the articles.  Do they make you want to click through to their websites or sign up for their newsletter?  Why? Use the articles as an example of how you can construct your own articles.
